Weekly Update #32 - Ambush Animation Redo & Other Things
I changed Egor's weapon and the whole weapon class that he used, "Glaives" into a "Staff/Stave" because I had to accept the fact that him learning how to use "specifically a glaive" doesn't make sense. Glaives are polearms with hooks for removing shields, and shields aren't really a common thing.
Narratively speaking, he needs to know how to use a polearm, as it is recommended to learn sword fighting before understanding how to use a polearm. That is important due to how in one of the flashbacks I'll make, Egor teaches Delu how to fight in multiple martial arts and a rapier-based HEMA (Historical European martial arts), as Delu uses a lightsaber in present day.
I'll be working on both battle animations and flashbacks now, so look forward to seeing them this week onwards.
